From the moment I arrived here, I knew this was the place for my current and future automotive needs. The staff here is AMAZING!! Often you walk into a place for the first time and your first impression is most always your lasting one. Well the staff here made a great first and lasting impression on me, from the attendant in the parking lot to the people at the counter. Very friendly and personable and reflects this place of business with professionalism, warmth and let's not forget smiles which I look for because I believe in smiling and making people feel comfortable in every aspect of life. I was treated with such care that I forgot this was an automotive industry where people can be what I call a little gruff and on the rude side. Not one person here displayed that. I was prepared to wait on my cars repairs, not knowing the extent of my cars service needs, but immediately I was offered a ride home since I live in Castro Valley. I couldn't believe that offer. After being home for about 2 hours, I received a call informing me of my cars work up order sent by email. I was a bit surprised at the amount of work that would be required, but I need my car as I work in Redwood City, so skimping around the recommendations was not an option. To my utter and complete surprise, I was offered a rental so that I could get to work the next day as parts needed to be ordered and when I wasn't able to get the rental back in time of the shop closing, it was extended to me to drop it off and pick up my car Friday morning, which was only an hour delay in getting to work. I would not have expected this type of excellent service but this place provided it. I was picked up at home by Enterprise and put in a vehicle, leaving me worry free where my car repairs was concerned and being able to get back and forth to work. But it doesn't end there. In October, I had an oil change done at the local Jiffy Lube and purchased an air filter for $39. To my frustration, I was advised that I didn't have an air filter in my car by Adams Autoworx. I asked if they could print the report that shows the item was not in my car and I was able to go right from there to Jiffy Lube to demand a full refund. What angered me most is that the young man never bothered to say he didn't know how to put it on after selling it to me, nor did he ask for assistance but led me to believe a needful part like your air filter was not put on. To my surprise, the manager only offered my money back but nothing to gain my future business after such a grave error and misdeed on their part. I drive from Castro Valley to Redwood city every day of the week including Sunday's and often to my former hometown in Tracy all without a much needed air filter. To not have anything offered to me for my trouble and who knows what future problems with my car due to not having this part for that length of time (2 months), is most unprofessional. That kind of lack of disregard for paying customers was NOT my experience at Adams Autoworx. The standard is now this place, so for all of my future car needs I will be going back to Adams. My car was ready as promised on Friday morning, and it has been running well since. I appreciate honesty, professionalism, outstanding customer service and friendliness and I received all of that at Adams Autoworx. I appreciate that this is a local service place for me and I will let all of my friends know as well. I am a loyal customer and when I am treated in the manner in which I treat customers, then you have my service for life. Thank you Adams Autoworx staff, and mechanics, you are the reason for this review and those 5 stars. You serve that place well and should be recognized for the excellence you displayed to this first time customer, who now has a lasting impression by this experience.
